My name is Andrew Dahlen and I teach Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Dakota. This Friday and Saturday (January 9 and 10, 2026) we are hosting the North Dakota Signature, a robotics Competition for high school students. We have a last-minute request for volunteers at this event, and I think retired teachers would be excellent Judges at the event. The Judges need to interview the teams and deliberate over who is most deserving of various awards. Judges are led by a judge advisor.
I would love to share this information with the North Dakota Retired Teachers Association. We are using signup.com to register volunteers. No experience is necessary to volunteer, and you'll receive free food and an event t-shirt. To learn more about the event, you can check out the event page.
